Lions, Tigers, and Bears; Oh My! The young American heroine, Dorothy of Kansas, has been swooped up by a tornado and dropped into the magical land of Oz. At the advice of the good witch Glenda she must make her way down the yellow brick road to the Emerald City to meet the Wizard of Oz. She has hopes that the wizard can send her home because of the reports of all the wonderful things he does. On her way Dorothy meets and befriends a scarecrow in need of a brain, a tin woodsman in need of a heart and a lion in need of courage. She assures all of them that the Wizard can fulfill their needs as well.
Dorothy and her friends meet the Wizard but discover their requests can only be fulfilled at a price. The Wizard wants the broomstick of the Wicked Witch of the West. The broomstick can only be obtained by killing the witch. To make matters worse the witch wants vengeance for the accidental death of her sister and the magical ruby slippers that Dorothy finds herself wearing. Dorothy must meet this challenge head on and convince herself that there really is no place like home.
